Provin Mountain Repeater Station

Description

Provin Mountain Repeater Station (PMRS) is operated by the Pioneer Valley Emergency Collaborative in conjunction with pvmesh.org. This Repeater is located on Provin Mountain in Agawam, MA and sits at roughly 50’ off the ground up on the Agawam Fire Tower. This location provides an optimal view of surrounding clients and direct connection to the Repeater Network. PMRS is one of our 10w solar powered RAK4631 modules with an 8dbi omni directional antenna, bandpass filter and 1.2Ah of battery power.

Coverage

The Provin Mountain station appears to provide great coverage around Hampden County from Westfield over to Ludlow, north to Holyoke and down into Windors Locks and Enfield, CT. Estimated coverage map:
